We understand that all individuals are different and have different needs and acknowledge that no two people are the same. Learning Disabilities are separated by levels of severity, mild, moderate, severe and profound and multiple learning disabilities.
We acknowledge that a person with a Learning Disability does not learn certain skills as quickly as other people and may need extra help in certain aspects of their lives. People with a Learning Disability may have difficulty understanding complex information, learning daily skills and looking after themselves or living alone. The problems faced vary from person to person and may include difficulties with communication, managing money, managing a home, reading, writing, personal care, socialising, difficulties planning and accessing community activities.
Flexible Care Plans
One of the biggest benefits of domiciliary care is its flexibility. Support will be tailor made to meet the specific needs of each individual. With the Right Support, people can live full and meaningful lives. We work closely with individuals, families, health and social care colleagues to formulate a support plan which best meets the needs of each person.
