How It Started
TLS Social Care began with a simple but powerful vision:
To create a service where people are truly seen, heard, and supported by staff who know them well
The journey started with Founder and Director, Linda Dube, whose career in care began at just 17 years old. From working as a care assistant while studying Health and Social Care, to supporting adults in supported living, care homes, and domiciliary care, Linda built a deep understanding of the challenges vulnerable adults face and the importance of compassion, consistency, and dignity in everyday support. Over the next twenty years, she progressed into roles such as Social Worker, Best Interest Assessor, and Team Manager across hospitals and community settings. Throughout her career, one truth remained clear:
People thrive when care is consistent, person-centred, and grounded in strong relationships.
Driven by this belief, Linda founded TLS Social Care, a service built to provide the high-quality, relationship-based support she felt was often missing, placing each individual at the heart of their care.
At TLS Social Care, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to adults aged 18 and over who require support as a result of Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs, Dementia, and Physical Disabilities. Our services are designed to promote independence, dignity, safety, and wellbeing within the comfort of each individual’s home and community.
We offer a comprehensive range of care and support services, including:
Personal Care
Sensitive, respectful assistance with daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, grooming, continence care, mobility, meal preparation, and safe medication support.
Domiciliary Care (Home Support)
Support with maintaining the home environment through domestic tasks, laundry, meal preparation, monitoring wellbeing, organising correspondence, managing bills, and general household routines.
Community Outreach Support
Assistance with accessing meaningful activities, social groups, education, volunteering, exercise, and other community-based opportunities to help build confidence and independence.
Sitting Service & Companionship
Friendly, reliable companionship to reduce loneliness and ensure safety, offering carers peace of mind. This includes conversations, engagement in hobbies, emotional support, and general wellbeing checks.
Befriending Service
Regular visits focused on building positive relationships, reducing isolation, and providing encouragement with social activities, interests, and community engagement.
Respite Care
Short-term support to give families and carers a break. This can be planned or emergency-based and is tailored to ensure continuity, safety, and personalised care during periods of respite.
Support with Appointments & Daily Tasks
Assistance with attending GP and hospital appointments, collecting prescriptions, grocery shopping, and managing essential day-to-day activities.
Tailored Support Packages
All care is personalised to the individual’s needs, preferences, culture, routines, and goals. We match each person with a consistent core team of trained staff, ensuring continuity, trust, and a relationship-based approach to care.
At TLS Social Care, our commitment is to deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality care that empowers every person to live with dignity, choice, and independence. Everything we do is guided by our core values, which shape how we support individuals, families, and our wider community.

We believe that kindness goes a long way. Our staff provide care with empathy, patience and understanding, building warm, trusting relationships so every person feels heard, supported, and valued.
Openness and Transparency
We are open, honest, and accountable in all that we do. We communicate clearly with service users, families, professionals, and commissioners to ensure everyone remains informed and involved in the care journey.
Respect and Dignity
We treat every individual with the utmost respect. We take time to understand each person’s priorities, abilities, needs and limitations, ensuring dignity is upheld at every stage of care and support.
Collaborative Working
We work in partnership with service users, their families, carers, and external professionals to deliver consistent, holistic support. We believe sustainable, high-quality care is achieved through strong relationships and shared goals.
Continuous Improvement
We embrace learning, feedback, and innovation. We regularly review our practice to ensure we deliver a service that is safe, effective, and continuously evolving to meet the needs of those we support.
Guided by these values, TLS Social Care operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a dedicated on-call system managed by trained professionals.
